• Why Bain?

  I joined Bain because I wanted to work with fun, intelligent and motivated people while getting a diverse range of experiences post college.  It's been two years now, and I can certainly testify about experiencing both on daily basis! 

• My passion

  I love the opportunities to make an impact that Bain presents, both in cases and in the broader community.  Doing great work alongside clients is a great way to make them stars in their workplace, which is extremely rewarding and something that I really love about our job.  I've also had some pretty phenomenal opportunities to make an impact in the Chicago community through Bain.  For example, I've volunteered with a Bain group doing tax returns for low-income Chicagoans on Saturday mornings over the past few years.  Together we've returned hundreds of thousands of dollars back to the community- and had a great time doing it!

• My favorite case

  My favorite cases tend to be team and client-driven favorite cases, rather than industry-driven favorites.  For example, I recently worked in the tech space, which isn't a particular area of passion for me.  However, we worked side-by-side with an engaged client team that was extremely energized about our project.  They would rave on a regular basis about the value they saw in the results we were creating together.  There is no better feeling!  Our team was also extremely close - it was a 'Best of Bain' experience for sure.

• A final thought

  Bain is a great place to be - there is so much that this firm does right from a structural perspective.  This takes many shapes and forms: sometimes they are subtle things, other times more obvious.  However, I notice things large and small each day that set Bain apart and feel thankful to have this opportunity!
