  As a strategy consultant at Bain, you get to see an extensive variety of projects in different industries and different countries. I was especially attracted by the enormous challenge of "acing" each case, together with the tremendous learning experiences that come with each project. Moreover, the amazing working atmosphere and fantastic co-workers at Bain make the projects even more fun and rewarding.

• My passion

  As we're trained at Bain to mainly use our left-brain (logic, facts, analysis), I use my free time nourish the other part of the brain by creating songs and screenplays. Bain helps me in exercising my passion for music and movies, as I played in the Bain band and wrote and directed the Brussels Office movie.

• My favorite case

  For my recent project for a large drinks manufacturer, we had to investigate how and where they should enter the African market. It was wonderful to learn so much about the continent in such a short timeframe.

• My personal results story

  One of my clients was a leading truck leasing company. On top of the regular case work, I constructed a deck explaining to outsiders what the company actually does and how they operate. The client liked it so much they're actually using my presentation now as their main selling document.

• A final thought

  In a way, job-seeking is not all that different from daily life or even dating. You meet the people and quickly find out whether there's a spark or not. Many companies will court you, but only Bain will steal your heart.

  We talk a lot about diversifying our firm even more, but I think we all share a lot of characterisitics: highly skilled and passionate, and we're fun to work with!
