Why Bain?
Bain gave me the opportunity to work with talented individuals with unique and diverse backgrounds.
Bain also gave me the opportunity to work in their Tokyo office where I am able to use both English and Japanese daily.
-
My passion
My passion at Bain is working in an international environment where interacting with colleagues happened on regular basis.
Passion outside of the office include but are not limited to: sports, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with friends.
-
My favorite case
I have only worked on one case, but it was very enjoyable and exciting.
It was for an industry that previously I had had no exposure in.
-
My personal results story
I wanted to truly get a feel for what Bain was like, and to do that, I needed to meet Bainies and actually be part of them. I think I was able to achieve this through actively seeking communication and participating in Bain events both in and outside of the office.

My perspective on diversity at Bain
Bain Tokyo definitely is a diverse office and it is certainly working to become more diverse. The team that I was working with had both people with Japanese and American background. It was a great experience to learn from and worth with both.
I am certain that I will see more of Bain's diversity if I ever have the opportunity to transfer to another office.

A final thought
The people around me made it extremely easy for me during my internship to adapt to the daily lifestyle consultants go through.
The program was fascinating, very fulfilling, and it must be mentioned that it was extremely enjoyable.
