Days at Bain are unpredictable and very unique in terms of Team, Clients, Industries, and Tasks; you can never get bored of a life in Consulting.

  • Why Bain?

The people at Bain are young, very smart, passionate and open minded. There is a true supportive attitude between and within the teams. I have never felt any unhealthy competition amongst peers

  • My passion

I like travelling and discovering new cultures.

During my first three months as an AC at Bain, I've worked in Eastern Countries for a FMCG Company. Every week was completely unique and challenging: my team and I visited a new country and discovered a particular market environment (Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, to name only a few), we met with different clients and had to provide answers to their questions quickly.

  • My favorite case

My favorite case was a two week due diligence for a snack company. In a very short period, we had to assess the whole interest and attractiveness of a business and the potential synergies with the mother company. As you have no time to loose, you learn to work well, quickly, to constantly remain results oriented and focused.

  • My personal results story

Recently, we advised a client to launch a new cider brand in his country. Results were by far higher than expected. The trade and the consumers highly appreciated it, and in a couple of months, the product reached beyond our five year sales plan forecast! It was very rewarding.

  • A final thought

As you are assigned on different projects, in different industries, with different teams, in different world regions,  you can't never expect any recurrence or repetition in your daily job. The diversity in tasks is what I consider as the most attractive advantage of a career at Bain.
