The main reason I chose Bain was the employees; I've never come across more energetic people!

• Why Bain?

  I chose Bain for a lot of reasons. Bain offers many international opportunities, very good training programs and pays lots of attention to Personal Development. But the main reason I chose Bain was the employees; I've never come across more energetic people!

• My passion

  I enjoy traveling and learning about other cultures. In the future I hope to take advantage of the transfer possibilities that Bain offers so that I can experience another culture (both office and country).
  
  Outside of work I enjoy playing tennis and scuba diving.

• My favorite case

  My favorite case was helping an airline to improve its customer service. It was very challenging to change a company from being very operationally focused into a customer- centric organization that focuses on the right (valuable) customers and offers them a superior, differentiated experience.
  
  I was involved in creating the customer segmentation and rolled out a pilot to test the changes we proposed to the travel experience and measure the results in customer satisfaction. We proved there was a lot of value in these changes!
  
  The team was great as well. At several case team events we had a lot of fun, especially a (very competitive) fencing event, and a (very relaxed) boating event. Of course, at night, drinks and a fine dinner were always included.

• My personal results story

  My first case was in the airline business. One of the things I was personally responsible for was an analysis of the current priority lane system and future options. The results were discussed with the client and the first part of my recommendations will be implemented this summer!

• A final thought

  When I chose to start at Bain I based my decision on the people who work here. My advice to you is to do the same! The down to Earth and 'at cause' mentality combined with the super high-energy level of Bain people is a guarantee for a great, fun time!
