• Why Bain?

  After finishing my MBA, I was not sure which industry or role I wanted to pursue. Consulting offered the best choice at the time--I could work in multiple industries solving a variety of problems. And, best of all Bain's culture appealed me.

• My passion

  Beyond casework at Bain, I also oversee professional development for the administration staff at Bain India. This is truly a challenging but very rewarding role. Outside of the office, I like to hang out with my two daughters.
  

• My personal results story

  Every year, we (Bain) as a group go out and serve the community in some way or other. This is called "Community Day" at Bain. I was part of the Boston office prior to transferring to India last year. During one of my community days at Boston, we had decorated a party hall for a Christmas party for underprivileged children. We later heard from the party organizers that the kids had a lot of fun. Not only did I feel proud to have contributed, but I knew that I would always remember the event.

• A final thought

  Evaluate various consulting firms and understand their cultures. Different firms have different cultures. You need to find the company culture where you fit in best.
