I’m in the middle of a corporate strategy case for a client in the energy field. Although we’ve worked for the client for a while, I’m new to the client and the industry, and its the first big strategy project we’ve done for them. Supported by an associate consultant, I’m responsible for looking at one of the firm’s biggest business units. We’re based at the client site Monday through Thursday, so there’s a lot of interaction, which I love. The case is a real chance to add value and take a longer-term view on our client, its industry, and its positioning.
