• Why Bain?

  Bain takes training really seriously. It is a major investment the firm does every semester/year for all levels of our employee's careers. Our trainers are the best and brightest talents of Bain and the locations and facilities are carefully selected.  The programs are customized to bring to life the issues you face in your day-to-day life at Bain. Besides all of that, training is a lot of fun and a great opportunity to build bounds with colleagues from all around the world. When I remember the training sessions I had the opportunitity to participate in so far (as a trainee or trainer) I realize how rewardable it is to be part of a such great group of people as Bain is. It was for sure some of the best moments of my career.

  Bain is also a place where I can put all my knowledge and energy into generating real business results in the real world. It's extremely satisfying to see your work have a significant impact on a client's business.

• My passion

  Outside of work, I love to read history books and think about how great personalities (politicians, scientists, businessmen, etc.) were able to drive such dramatic improvements in society. At Bain, I get to see up close how great corporate leaders think, make their decisions and drive change in their companies. It has been a great learning experience to have a say in critical decisions of large Brazilian and global companies.

• My favorite case

  My favorite recent case was helping a large retail chain in Brazil enter the financial services business. This entailed creating a partnership with a bank to offer credit cards, insurance and other financial services to the retailer's client base.
  
  Our team designed an entry strategy and created a business plan. We then led the bidding process with banks and supported all negotiation and juridic contracts until the initiative was launched. The initiative has been very successful for the client, resulting in, among other things, a bank partnership with a premium tied to annual profits.

• My personal results story

  I am very proud of the work I have done for clients while working at Bain. I have helped companies increase efficiency in their distribution chains, increase productivity per store, expand their store bases and offer financial services in their stores. I already have lots of success stories to share - and expect to have more great experiences at Bain in the coming years.

• A final thought

  Bain has been more than just a job or a professional experience after undergraduate school. It has been a truly fantastic and enjoyable school of "life in business." I have worked with very friendly and supportive people who have contributed so much to my professional and personal development.
