  Bain's strength within Private Equity was an important factor for me when I was making my final decision about where to work.

• My passion

  At Bain, I've been exposed to a wide set of industries, including financial services, telecom, and private equity, to name a few. Despite having well-established methodologies and frameworks, it often takes a lot of creativity to crack the case, which is always stimulating, challenging and fun.

• My favorite case

  An interesting case I recently worked on was doing due diligence on a Swedish ventilation equipment manufacturer for a French PE fund at the company's Paris office. It was fascinating to work in an international environment and to see first-hand the big market differences between geographic regions.

• My personal results story

  Once during a due diligence biotech case I was supposed to say something intelligent about the DNA sequencing equipment market after just four days. At first I thought the manager was kidding, but then I was surprised by how much we actually did learn during those four days, as well as the quality of the work we finally delivered.
