• Why Bain?

  Bain was the best choice for me because of the people.  Throughout the recruiting process and my summer internship, everyone was interesting, fun, intelligent and humble.  Wanting to hang out with your coworkers even outside of work makes every day very enjoyable.

• My passion

  My passion at Bain is Bain's culture.  It's such a unique asset for Bain and I enjoy contributing to it and enlivening it by bringing my external passions to the relevant activities at work.  By performaning in Bain Band and organizing Bain World Cup and our weekly soccer league, I can help make Bain a better place for everyone while also feeding my passions.

• My favorite case

  One of my favorite cases was designing a new sales pilot for a healthcare client.  It was early in my Bain career, but I was actively involved in the final workshop and I was able to attend all major client meetings.  It was particularly interesting because each of the clients had different reasons to want or be afraid of the changes so we had to take all of their concerns into account throughout the process.

• My personal results story

  This year I was part of the planning team for the AC retreat.  An event we planned to discuss the ideal AC role and times when we had all felt particularly motivated and inspired.  From the retreat we were able to distill the results into some actionable items for Bain leadership, present the results, and see the leadership take our recommendations very seriously.  It was a great example of how being proactive can pay off and of how great Bain's culture is since the leadership truly encourages participation in decision-making from all levels of the company.

• My perspective on diversity at Bain

  Bain truly believes in the importance of diversity in several dimensions and as a company we invest in it.  I've always been impressed by the support for all of the affinity groups in recruiting and in fostering a sense of community with activities such as the BABs, BGLAD, and LATBA retreats. 

• A final thought

  The level of connectedness I've achieved with my coworkers of all levels has surprised me at Bain.  No matter how long I stay at Bain, I know that the relationships I've built here will last a lifetime.  I'm truly thankful for the opportunity to meet and work with all of these amazing individuals.
