Why Bain?
I chose Bain because it feels different here- the moment I arrived in the office for my interview, I knew that this was the place for me. Everyone was so inviting, and the atmosphere seemed so much more enjoyable than some of the other firms I had visited. Working with great people while also building a strong analytical toolkit were both very important in deciding my destination after undergrad, and becoming a Bainie was an offer that I couldn't refuse.

My passion
My passion at Bain is definitely recruiting. Attending a small liberal arts college allowed me to see, first-hand, just how difficult it can be to join a top-tier consulting firm, and I now enjoy helping others in similar situations find out how wonderful Bain is. Outside of the office, I am a huge sports fan and enjoy both playing and watching sports. Whether it's attending a football game, or participating on the office softball and basketball teams, I always enjoy catching up with my colleagues.

My favorite case
My favorite case thus far has definitely been a portfolio strategy case for a defense contractor. It was great to be a part of the process on the first day, and to see the number of Bain teams grow in what would become a multi-year engagement following our Phase I recommendation.

My personal results story
Every day seems like a day that adds to my story here at Bain and helps me become a better person overall. Constantly being challenged to think outside of the box and take my work to the next level has allowed me to experience a tremendous amount of growth since I started, and I can only imagine how much more I'll continue to grow in the future.

My perspective on diversity at Bain
Bain's recruitment of diverse candidates was one of my initial attractions to this firm. As a minority, it was important to find a company that placed a strong emphasis on hiring diverse talent, and Bain does just that. Through affinity networks such as Blacks at Bain (BABs), I've been able to meet other minorities and they have helped enhance my experience thus far as a Bainie.

A final thought
Bain is a place for fun, hard-working, and genuinely good people. It's an environment that allows you to flourish because of the ideals that are embedded in each and every person who calls this company home. We all want to see each other succeed because "a Bainie never lets another Bainie fail."
