  I chose Bain for the people. While in business school, I had a chance to meet people from several consulting firms but the conversations with Bainies were especially fun and interesting. The Bainies were smart, driven, dynamic and at the same time fun and down to earth. I was convinced it would be a fantastic experience to work with them at Bain.
  

• My passion

  Learning - life at Bain is continuous learning. I can always utilize Bain's own knowledge asset built with extensive case experiences and research to advance my thinking. It also makes me look back on myself to work with intellectual Bainies from diverse academic and career backgrounds. I continue to stay at Bain because of this learning and rewarding experience and feeling of growth every day.
  

• My favorite case

  It was a spectacular experience to work in the Private Equity Group at Bain to develop solid business sense in a short period of time. For 9 months, I was involved in case work for companies of various sizes, in 11 industries and various situations from distressed to fast-growing. I was able to examine wide-ranging business situations and make decisions. Experiences such as this are possible only at Bain.
  

• My personal results story

  I was involved in a PMI case for a 2nd tier IT company which faced internal resistance for a new process and organization post-merger. I met with people in the organization from working level all the way to management to persuade in person and openly communicate the plan. As a result, I earned trust and succeeded in applying the 'to-be' model. After the case, the integrated company significantly improved capability and performance and in six months, the stock price jumped more than twice its value.
  

• A final thought
