• Why Bain?

  I chose Bain for two simple, but integral reasons - the work and the people. At no other firm did I meet such talented, driven, and friendly individuals committed to achieving results - both personally, and for the client. Furthermore, the daily work at even the entry level is challenging and interesting. Over the course of just a few cases, you're sure to learn about every part of business strategy and almost every industry.
  

• My passion at Bain and outside of the office

  I've always loved business, and I also love giving back to the community, particularly in a way where I can use my specific skills. In high school, I worked as a mentor to at-risk youth, helping them to develop their passion for school. At Bain, through our partnership with Inspire, a non-profit, employee-run consulting firm, I'm able to contribute the skills I've learned at Bain to make a major impact on the community and on projects relating to education and more.
  

• A final thought

  At the end of the day, you're going to be happiest if you love your work and if you feel like you are constantly learning. What makes a job at Bain great is that you will learn something new every day - from quantitative analysis skills to industry background. But more importantly, you will work alongside some of the most interesting and intelligent colleagues anywhere. When choosing a career, ask yourself - would I actually enjoy this work, and could I see my potential co-workers as friends? For me, only at Bain was the answer to both questions yes.
