I chose Bain because I am convinced that they are the best among the top consulting firms when it comes to valuing their employees.

My passion at Bain includes being part of various "extra 10%" and working with cross-cultural teams. After becoming a part of Bain, I have not only developed my professional skills but also found avenues to improve my overall personality by becoming a class captain, organizing a case team trip, and organizing the Bain Community Day. 

I am very fond of talking to people from different parts of the world, learning about their cultures, and way of life. Bain has again given me multiple instances to work with different Bain offices and build international relationships.

Outside of office, I love photography, mixing music, networking, and going to the gym.

My favorite case is the one I have recently worked on. The case was organizational restructuring for one of the biggest companies in India. This restructuring had the potential to affect the Indian stock markets in a significant way making it a very crucial case. The Chairman of the Company, one of the most reputed men in the infrastructure industry, was very devoted to the work and my decks would eventually reach him and Bain India MD. I was very proud of my work and the amount of learning on this case was tremendous thanks to an excellent team.

My personal results story is related to my favorite case experience. Not only was my work reaching some of the client's high profile people, I was also learning a lot about how organizations work. While on this project, not only did I learn a lot about how our client works but also about how Bain works. This has added significant value to my understanding of organizations.

Diversity, for me, comes not only from having different academic backgrounds but also from having different mindsets. Having people from different parts of the world on the team adds to the team's creativity. This was very evident on my first case. The team of Indians and Italians collaborated effectively to produce superb results for our client. By having teams bring their diverse industry knowledge to the table Bain is able to effeciently help its clients to grow in different parts of the world while keeping their core strength.

What I love most about Bain is the people. Everyone takes the time to connect both professionally and personally. I like that conscious efforts are made to ensure that this spirit of bonding remains strong.

For prospective recruits, all I would say is that Bain is all about its people and their strengths. If you want to be a part of this team, you must focus on what makes you unique among so many applicants and build your story around that.
