Undergraduate

You're a talented young professional. You're looking for an opportunity to learn, to grow, to prosper and to work with amazing clients and colleagues. At Bain, you might just find the perfect fit.

If you're an undergraduate or have a master's degree, you'll probably apply for our associate consultant (AC) role. Also, masters' students and those with less than three years of work experience join Bain as ACs. It's a great way to set yourself up for future success—both at Bain and beyond.

Your casework will offer diverse opportunities:

  • Wide-ranging clients—Fortune 500 companies, mid-sized firms, private equity firms, and start-ups
  • Stimulating challenges—corporate and business unit strategy, mergers and acquisitions, organizational design, sales and marketing optimization, and manufacturing and distribution improvements
  • Fast-changing industries—consumer goods and retail, technology and telecommunication, financial services, industrial products, and many others

Plus, your specific responsibilities as an associate consultant will include an array of activities—no two days will be exactly alike.

Your work on case teams will involve the following:

  • Structuring and performing analysis, and conducting primary research, to uncover insights that drive our recommendations to clients
  • Presenting at team and client meetings, and determining the most practical way to drive lasting results based on your insights

Also, by collaborating with managers, senior consultants, and clients on a daily basis, you'll make valuable professional connections. And you will create lifelong friendships with your supportive, accomplished AC peers. After two or three years, you'll be amazed by the diversity of your accomplishments and the strength of your network. No other job out of college prepares you as well to achieve your full potential.
