Many Bainies have found transferring to another office a professionally rewarding and personally enriching experience at various stages in their careers. Join over 50% of our Managers, 40% of our Consultants and 25% of our Associate Consultants who have worked in more than one Bain location.

Should you decide a transfer is right for you, we have a variety of programs designed to meet your needs:

Experience Share Program — Our Experience Share program provides Associates and Consultants with an opportunity to spend 6 months in another Bain office working with multiple teams. Over 90% of our Consulting staff who apply for an Experience Share transfer are able to participate in the program.

Case-specific — Join a Bain client team in another location for 2 to 6 months to gain exposure to a new client, type of work and culture.

Strategic — Want to help us build our presence and expand our capabilities in a new location or emerging market? As a strategic transfer you will move to another country to help support our strategic priorities for geographic expansion and development.

Short and Long-term transfer opportunities — Do you have a need or desire to spend one, two or three years working in a new market and exploring a new city and culture? Then a short or long-term transfer may be right for you. Every year, we are able to accommodate over 80 personally-driven moves.
