Undergraduates/masters

Associate consultants (ACs) generally join Bain directly from colleges/universities, including masters programs. ACs are a diverse group of highly qualified people with extremely broad backgrounds—from hard science to literature. Application process

Bain actively recruits at a number of colleges, universities and MBA programs around the globe. Before you apply, please review your school's page to see if there is a specific application process for your school. Bain's school pages also provide information on upcoming events and profile Bain employees who are alumni of your university. Use the search box to find your college/university pages. If your school is not listed, or does not require a specific process, please apply using our online application.

We require the following information when submitting your application via our online system.

  • Resume/CV and cover letter
  • Educational background information
  • Work experience
  • Office preference
  • Relevant test scores
  • College transcript (requirement varies by institution)

Once your application is received, the appropriate application committee will review your application.

Interview process

The interview process at Bain is an opportunity for you to learn more about us and for us to learn more about you. All candidates are strongly encouraged to prepare for our interview process.
