Dear Stanford student,

Welcome to our website, and thank you for your interest in Bain.  Feel free to take some time here to learn more about what makes Bain such a great firm, and why we feel it's an outstanding place to start your career.  There is a very strong tradition of Stanford alumni joining Bain, one that we know will continue with our summer interns and full time hires for the class of 2012. 

Despite today's challenging economic environment, you, as a Stanford graduate, have a wealth of career options available to you.  Unlike many of these options, Bain is a choice that will position you for success in a wide range of chosen fields - Bain alumni go on to leadership positions at major corporations, innovative start-ups, and large financial organizations, to name just a few.  They also lead in the social sector, government, law, and education.

Four years at Stanford (or five for some of you Cotermers planning to spend another precious year on the Farm) teaches you critical thinking; as an Associate Consultant at Bain you will learn how to turn your thoughts into impact.  One of Bain's core principles is an emphasis on tangible results.  That's one of the main reasons that some of the most dynamic, change-oriented CEOs and general managers in business today choose to work with teams from Bain.
